Competition Terms & Participation Guide

How to Take Part

Exploring Cayman has never been more rewarding.

To enter:

  • Visit a landmark featured on the interactive map
  • Capture a photo or video clearly showing your visit
  • Share your content to Instagram or Facebook (story or feed)
  • Tag @wehwefrom345 and include #LegendsBehindOurLandmarks

Participants may also download and use the campaign sticker from the map to enhance their post. While not required, its use is encouraged.

Using the Sticker (Optional)

Participants can download a campaign sticker directly from the interactive map.

To use the sticker

  • Select a landmark on the map
  • Download the sticker to your device
  • Add it to your Instagram or Facebook story when sharing your visit

Entry Requirements

To be considered a valid entry:

  • The post must clearly show the participant at the landmark
  • The post must include the tag @wehwefrom345
  • The post must include the hashtag #LegendsBehindOurLandmarks
  • Entries may be shared via Instagram stories, Instagram feed posts, or Facebook posts

Multiple entries are encouraged. Participants may submit multiple entries, including more than one entry per day.

Entries must be publicly viewable at the time of judging.

Winners and Prizes

Weekly Winners:

  • One winner will be selected each week, beginning in Week 2 of the campaign
  • Weekly prizes will consist of vouchers

Major Prizes

  • Two major prize winners will be selected:
  • One at the midpoint of the campaign
  • One at the conclusion of the campaign

All entries submitted throughout the campaign will be considered for the major prizes.

Details of the major prizes will be confirmed and announced during the campaign.

Winner Selection

Winners will not be selected at random.

Entries will be assessed based on:

  • Creativity
  • Effort
  • Originality

Weekly winners will be selected from entries submitted within that week. All entries remain eligible for the major prize selections.

Campaign Timeline

Campaign start date: Friday, 24 July
Campaign end date: Friday, 4 September

Weekly entry periods run from Friday to Sunday at 11:59 PM (Cayman Islands time). Entries submitted after this time will be considered for the following week.

Weekly winners will be announced each Monday. Final winners will be announced at the conclusion of the campaign.

Eligibility

The competition is open to residents of the Cayman Islands only. Participants may be required to provide proof of residency in order to claim a prize.

Additional Information

This competition is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram or Facebook.

By entering, participants grant the organisers the right to use, reproduce, and share submitted content across digital and marketing channels without additional permission or compensation.

Entries that are incomplete, inappropriate, misleading, or do not meet the entry requirements may be disqualified.

The organisers reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and may request additional information if required.

Winner Notification

Winners will be contacted via the account used to enter.

If a winner does not respond within three (3) days, the organisers reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

Prize Conditions

Prizes are non-transferable.

Prizes are not redeemable for cash.

Major prizes are subject to availability and may be subject to additional terms and conditions set by the prize provider.

Additional prize details, including any conditions or expiry dates, will be communicated directly to winners.

Liability and General Conditions

Participants enter at their own risk. The organisers are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred as a result of participation.

The organisers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time if required.
